Name: Aimi
Age: 18
Village: Sunagakure
Rank: Chuunin
Alias: Monsun
Aimi was born in Sunagakure to a loving mother, father, and brother. She lived quite happily and always followed her brother, Tanaka, everywhere, going so far as to mimic his actions while she was younger. He was the first shinobi in their family, and it was only natural to think that Aimi wanted to do the same. He taught Aimi the few things he had learned at the Academy in Sunagakure, giving her a leg up on the competition, and a handful of low-rank Earth Release jutsu.
Within a few years, Aimi's younger sister was born, but Aimi was too focused on perfecting what Tanaka had taught her to pay much attention to the baby. She helped her mother and Tanaka care for the newborn, but she could be usually found in her room or where ever there was sufficient space to practice.
She entered the Academy and made good grades, but she began feeling guilty for not giving her sister enough attention and used any time that she was not studying with the newest family member. She began feeling quite protective of her sister, much like Tanaka's attitude towards her. With the addition of the sister, Aimi began forming her own path while still holding close to her role model.
After the final test in the Academy, Aimi became a Genin and got along well with her teammates. They worked together to complete missions and, after six months of training together, the Chuunin Exams came around. Before she left to take the exam, she bid farewell to her family and promised her sister that she would return to continue taking care of her.
The Chuunin Exams were more difficult than expected, but Aimi barely squeezed through to the last test and lost against her opponent, but because of the leadership skills she displayed, she was bumped to the rank of Chuunin. She returned to Sunagakure with a bounce in her step, but when she got home, she was surprised to see depression painted on her family members' faces. They told her that Tanaka had left on a mission before she left and had yet to return. Aimi felt the sadness as well but hoped for the best. It was only when Tanaka returned home a few months later that they could see a more rigidness in his posture. He still held the same kind tone that he used to, but the family could tell that there was a difference. He apologized to them all, then, to their shock, took off his hitai-ate and slashed through the hourglass symbol, showing that he was now a nuke-nin. They all cried, even Tanaka, but he left without another word.
They still do not know why Tanaka left and have not seen hide nor hair of him, but Aimi searches for him in her free time and attempts to catch any word of him possible.
