Appearance:

Ami has striking red hair with orange highlights in random spots stretching down to the middle of her back. Fall is her favorite season and it's easy to see because she wears a clip in her hair in the shape of a maple leaf and by the way she dresses. She has a black leather form fitting top with bright red maple leaves in the way of a halter top. There are leather straps that connect to a ring to her shirt wrapped around her neck. She has form fitting black shorts that stop to right above the knee.

Her eyes see the world in an amazing emerald green that sparkle with the slightest bit of light. On her left shoulder she has a mark showing the significance of her clan. It has an "N" with a line through it horizontally craddled with a curved line above the "N" with another line that curves over and to the right of the "N" with a few little dots along it.

Personality:

Ami tends to be: warm, gregarious, and playful; impulsive, curious, and talkative; sensitive, caring, and gentle; social and unpredictable with a great zeal for life; active, responsive, and highly aware of the physical world. The most important thing to Ami is freedom to be spontaneous, have fun, and enjoy the company of others.

Outgoing, friendly, and accepting. She's an exuberant lover of life, people, and material comforts. She enjoys working with others to make things happen. Bringing common sense and a realistic approach to her work, and makes work fun. She's very flexible and spontaneous, she adapts readily to new people and environments. Ami learns best by trying a new skill with other people. She tends to be a trouble maker, either breaking the rules and getting her friends in on the adventure.

Special Abilities:

Ami's amazing strength worth 40 grown men comes to her genetically by her grandmother. The Nakamuri family always has been known for amazing strength along with amazing medical skills. Ami's grandmother always taught Ami all that she knew so she could learn discipline and respect. The first time Ami saw her grandmother take a smack at a tree with her bare hand made her stare wide-eyed. The tree had not only snapped in half like a twig but she knocked it into a different century. By gaining these skills and character traits Ami had a very important relationship with her grandmother.

Items:

Ami always carries with her a special ointment that is Nakamuri made. It can heal a wound (depending on how deep and infected the cut is) up to 24 hours.

Battle Style:

Ami has an interesting battle style not usually like the rest. Ami usually likes to take things slow in a battle if she can, but if it's a fast paced battle then she steps it up a notch. Ami usually tries to do whatever she can to win a battle it just makes her feel better about herself but if she loses to a friend in a spar then she doesn't really mind. Ami uses her strength, agility, strategies, and ninjutsu to her advantage during a battle. This goes for her strength, she likes to use her best abilities for last. For instance she's be the first to use her projectiles, ninjutsu, then her unbelievable strength. In other words, she likes to use her weakest abilities first then she'll get gradually harder to defeat.

History:

At Ami's birth she had the strangest natural hair color. Her parents didn't like the idea of their only child having red/orange hair so they dyed her hair to brown at birth. Her parents weren't the best of parents a child could have especially with her crazy uncle floating around. Ami didn't really know about his schemes to killl her till a latter time. Ami visits her grandmother as much as she can. Her grandmother is her relief of the weak generation of the Nakamuri clan. She started to teach Ami what she knew as a ninja in her time. And with that their relationship grew stronger just as Ami did. Suddenly one night when she was sleeping in her room like she always had her uncle snuck into her room grabbed a knife and tried to kill her. However, Ami never woke up, she felt a force of evil leaning over her with malice and hatred in his eyes. She could feel the burning hatred just by being in the room. But what did wake her up is the feeling of someone pushing her towards the window as a sign off escape. Ami sat there shocked and immobile, after a while of seeing her grandmother defeat her uncle she finally made an effort to leave. Her Grandmother told her to leave for her house as a haven

Ami escaped through the window right next to her bed and jumped from the two story building. She landed to her surprise gracefully, then she had thoughts of her grandmother. Then slowly and gently Ami's grandmother explained to her that her uncle hated ninjas and that he probably found out about her learning of the Nakamuri's ninja past and figured Ami had already begun training. Also, the mark on her left shoulder signifying the Nakamuri clan was a special mark one person every other generation had recieved. Ami's grandmother being one, passed down the spirit to Ami. After that Ami's grandmother took her in without a word to her parents. All of Ami's possesions were brought to the old Nakamuri's house and she lived there learning all she could from her grandma.

Ami's grandma wanted her to continue the ninja tradition so Ami was put in the Raikou Academy. Only the teachers ever knew about Aigyoutori, they never wanted to find out what could have happened to Ami if the children found out. But at this young age Ami learned the basic jutsu just as any other Academy student. Her grandmother at home taught her how to control the spirit living inside her while teaching her a few family jutsu that she needed to learn. She met a girl named Kawa, they became really good friends and spent almost every minute with each other. Kawa became the most important person in her life besides her grandma. After she met Kawa all things went wrong....

Ami's grandma died of old age, knowing this time would come sooner or later in her will she left everything she owned to Ami. Ami cried for days until she collected her things as a young student of eleven and traveled toward better places. Kawa's parents loved Ami as their own and Kawa couldn't live without her, so Kawa's parents against their better judgment let both of th girls journey into the real world when they only just graduating from the Academy. Most of the traveling was put into Aigyoutori having a high speed of flight, they could get anywhere they wanted in a short time.

One day they flew over head Konoha and could tell somone was in trouble. One boy was surrounded by three others who were bigger and stronger. Ami and Kawa were lovers but when they need to be fighters they sure don't mind. Ami was the first to speak up, she told them to get lost or she'll have to make Aigyoutori do something bad to them. They didn't even turn around to look, then Kawa being a taijutsu artist kicked one in the back and yelled at them to listen to Ami. Ami sighed and said it again, only this time they didn't bother to listen. They saw the 7 foot Falcon towering over them giving them a playful glare and started running for their parents.

The boy was scared at first but then realized they were trying to help him. He smiled slightly and blushed. He introduced himself as Maikeru. They all started hanging out and talked for a while. Ami and Kawa found a third to be added into their duo. Maikeru suggested them to see the Hokage since they were from another village wanting to live there, and they did. Maikeru talked to the Hokage with them trying to convince them to let them be apart of Konoha. And he agreed, knowing they were genin by the forehead protectors they wore. Maikeru let them meet his father, a swordsman who crafted his own swords and for others. This was the time Ami saw her maple leaf sword and fell in love with it. Seeing her automatic interest and genuine love for kinjutsu Maikeru's father agreed to teach her kinjutsu and give her the sword if Ami and Kawa would live with Maikeru, his father, and mother and help with the chores because they have a house too big for just Maikeru's mother to handle.

The Hokage made them endure the last week of the Academy with Maikeru so they could get to know the rest of the ninja. (They're the same age and level its just Konoha's Academy ends after Raikou's) The Chuunin Academy teacher sent these three to be on a team with Maikeru's smarts and strategy, Ami's handle on both fighting and strategy, and Kawas strength in fighting turned them into an equally balanced team. They met their sensei and had to go through some intense training. For a few more months they trained as intense as ever unaware of their sensei knowing about what trial is about to follow. The Chuunin Exams. The sensei signed them all up and they were all qualified. In the end when the left ninja had to fight each other, Ami's worst fears had gone into play, she had to par with Kawa. Kawa had almost defeated Ami but Aigyoutori wouldn't have it, she gave Ami some chakra she had and after the transfer Ami stood back up as if she hadn't a scratch.

Ami was far too determined to quit now though she loved Kawa, she knew she had to be a chuunin to fulfill not only her grandmother's dreams for her, but her own dreams. Maikeru stood there cheering for the both of his best friends, he didn't want to waste time and energy choosing one to cheer for. Ami finally knocked Kawa out with a cold punch that knocked her into the wall ten feet behind her. When Ami's in the fighting mode, you don't want to cross her path. But when Ami snapped out of her mode she rushed over to Kawa and picked her up to take her to the medic ninjas. Maikeru's turn was next and he ended up fighting the guy who tried to beat him up the day he met Kawa and Ami. So he dedicated the fight to them, thinking of his friends and how good they are to him made him push himself as far as he could because of his dedication. Maikeru won easily defeating him with a trap even Ami couldn't think of how to get out of. They all ended up being Chuunin because of their hard work at such a young age. And now as an all Chuunin squad they find out what's really out there.

Ami is a visual person, a clever chuunin who is calm and optomistic but never underestimates any opponent. Ami is a ninja planning to go into the medical field. She one day hopes to be like Tsunade not realising she already is like her. So far Ami likes being a Chuunin nothing has yet to trouble her to the point of anything drastic. Ami and Kawa end up moving from Maikeru's house but still live in an apartment across the street and share the rent. Ami's room has a midnight sky painted on the cieling as a place she can just dream into, giving her a peace of mind when stress is overwhelming her. It's really an escape for her like most bedrooms should be. Though nothing compares to her favorite passtime, watching the stars at night. She just takes a pillow and sometimes sleeps on the roof of the apartment building gazing at the stars causing her to fall into a deep sleep.

Alright, there are a couple of things on this that have caught my attention:
- Why is Ami learning kinjutsu? At her level, this should be nearly impossible since forbidden techniques either do extreme harm to the user's body or go against the laws of nature. Learning kinjutsu is also frowned upon heavily by many shinobi, and she would likely be subject to a sort of isolation because of it unless she had something like a bijuu inside of her (which is impossible because all bijuu currently have hosts except for the Sanbi).
- What exactly is Aigyoutori? I realize that it's a spirit animal, but these are never seen in Naruto, therefore, it would be extremely unlikely that a shinobi has one.
- Konohagakure would not accept a shinobi from another nation so easily, nor would any other village. I suggest that you change her history so she is growing up in a village rather than being integrated into one.

This character needs to be workshopped, but other than these details, she seems like a good character. ^-^
