She is very logical and is a big follower of the rules and doesn’t like improvising or acting on impulses. From her family, teachers, and books she has formed her own idea of what a shinobi should act like and has tried to mold herself after that. She tries her best to be serious and as emotionless as possible, thinking first and foremost of the village’s needs before her own. Still, she is only a twelve year old child and her façade is bound to slip often. She has a quick temper for people who don’t pull their own weight or take their duties as shinobi lightly. As well as being bad at masking annoyance she also isn’t too good at hiding her excitement when she does something right or gets something she wants. She means well and tries her hardest to make her superiors proud. But she also strives to surpass her classmates and is highly competitive in almost everything. Because of this she resents people who have bloodline limits and special abilities that are just given to them at birth, while she has to work so hard for everything she gets. She knows that in the end it will be more rewarding, but at the present she secretly feels like she has a disadvantage. Some people see that her being a girl makes her weaker as well, and that is the one thing she hates most of all. She hates sexism and is determined to prove them all wrong. Even though she is competitive and rather intimidating she is a fiercely loyal teammate to have once you’ve gained her respect. Once Kaori starts to get close to someone she holds that person dear to her heart and will protect them above all else. She even lets her boundaries down around her closest friends and acts more of her true self, but she knows that the mission comes before feelings and emotions…most of the time. As for love and relationships she has secret crushes, but has never acted on any of them. In her mind she doesn’t have time for such things. Although she often secretly feels lonely, she would never tell anyone and is scared to get hurt in a relationship, even though some boys have liked her before. Overall Kaori probably isn’t the easiest person to get along with. She can be pretty intense about training and rules, but all in all she has her heart in the right place. Deep down within her is a little girl that wants her childhood back, but following the ninja way is her dream and she is excited to grow and become stronger. [/style]

Her hair is a light brown with auburn highlights that reaches to the middle of her back with long bangs cut to frame her face. Most of the time she just wears her hair down plain because she is usually too lazy to do anything fancy with it. Her skin is light, but not so much it’s considered pale. She has bright blue eyes that can go from light and beautiful to serious and steely in an instant. Her chest is starting to develop but is not quite as big as a grown woman’s yet. She has a skinny waist with thin, rather weak legs despite her training. Her feet are pretty small and she never paints her toes, not having time for such an unnecessary act. Her hands are small and soft since she prefers long distance combat to close combat, but she doesn’t paint her fingernails either. As for clothes she has a style all of her own, but if asked she doesn’t bother with styles or trends. Kaori doesn’t wear any jewelry and says that all of her clothes serve a purpose, when actually she has become rather attached to her outfit even if there are more useful things to wear. Her outfit reflects her mother’s profession even though she followed her her father’s footsteps. She wears a white collar shirt with blue trim and a loose red tie on the top, with a brown jacket that is a little too large overtop. Kaori leaves the coat open, the blue trip around the bottom and hands matching her white shirt underneath. When she becomes a Genin and receives her headband she plans to wear it on her upper left arm over top of the jacket. On the bottom she wears short black shorts with her ninja belt attached around the waist; holding her wire and weapons. Underneath her shorts she wears black tights and rather unconventional combat boots, but she likes them because it actually gives her feeble physical attack at least a slight kick. [/style]

She fell in love with a Jounin in the village and ended up marrying him; Kaori’s father. They lived together for a few years before having Kaori, who grew up in a loving home with no siblings, which made her feel a little lonely. Her mother was around more than her father, who was frequently away on missions, so at first Kaori was convinced she wanted to be part of the research and development unit just like her mother. Kaori always tried to follow the rules and was a good child with a logical and critical way of thinking. But as time grew on Kaori’s other talents emerged as well and the path of the shinobi opened up as an option. Her mother argued that her daughter was too fragile to ever become a shinobi but her father said she could learn other ways to protect herself. It was decided when her father showed her how to focus and calm her mind, Kaori taking her first real steps in the art of genjutsu. Her father would not see his daughter go down the research and development track when she had promise to become an excellent shinobi. Eventually he talked her mother into it and finally Kaori was sent off to the ninja academy. This was her first chance to make her family proud and soon she found that she loved the challenges she was faced with. Kaori wrote a workout schedule for herself and read as many books as she could get her hands on about jutsu styles and tyjutsu moves (although she wasn’t nearly as good at them as she was at genjutsu and ninjutu). With time she became more disciplined and more mature, and was known as the smart, pretty girl in the class who was a little too serious. Kaori feels as if she is ready to become a Genin, and greatly looks forward to the test to reach the next level and finally work in a team. [/style]
