OKAY, WHY DON'T YOU TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOUR FABULOUS SELF?
Shimo is a rather calm, collected and serious man who keeps a cool head under pressure unless severely provoked by something. He doesn't like to show weakness around others therefore usually likes to be looked upon as a pillar of strength and collected peacefulness. When with Genin students he is training he is stern but fair to them, making sure that each one is trained to their specific needs in order to make sure they become effective shinobi. He would never turn them down on a request to train them or whatever personal matters they need help with and is often seen buying them lunch, dinner, or even cooking for them should the need arise. Fiercely loyal and willing to sacrifice himself even the smallest of villagers within Konoha, he takes the job of being a protector seriously and will often reprimand someone who disrespects what the Shinobi fight for.
While off on his own, with someone he's comfortable around, or a fellow jonin he is more open with his feelings. He tends to crack a smile a lot more and even tries to tell a joke here and there to break tension that might be setting in. He also brings plenty of food with him, usually meaning to share it with others should they forget their own. There is one kunoichi who has his eye however and that is Anko Mitarashi, and she is the only one who causes more open side of Shimo to come out. Around her, he gets a bit loopy and nervous, often turning quite the shade of red and seems to be hardly able to speak correctly. He is often seen nervously asking her to lunch or to by her dumplings when he can muster the courage to and is rather shown to be jealous of someone who can make laugh or smile when he fails to do so.
In combat, Shimo keeps his calm and emotionless personality to help him concentrate and keep a clear mind in battle. He doesn't say much, even with the opponent yelling at him and even if he does reply its usually a quick and blunt sentence about their lack of discipline in fighting should they be losing. He doesn't like drawing fights out, prefering to end them quickly by means of death or incapasitation in order to reduce possible injury of those around him. However, when Aiko or his sister Akemi are mentioned he tends become a bit more angry and acts on pure emotions, which can often get him into dangerous situations but so long as he has a partner he can get out of those most of the time.

I swear if he wanted too...and if mom didn't rip his head off....he would adopt as many orphans as he could. Sadly...my brother's betrayal of the clan along with the help of my sister saw to the end of his life and not a day goes by that I don't regret not being able to stop it.”

She was never good at genjutsu, she always believed you won if you clobbered your opponent with your bare hands. She retired from being a shinobi after she had me, and instead took up cooking at a local restaurant where she prepares all kinds of meals. She was always good a cooking...it's why I am learning from her. When father died, she had become rather depressed and quiet but always seems to light up whenever I show up to see her."

I had so much respect for him and even found myself jealous of him on several occasions until the night he showed his true colors to us all. When Aiko left, so did she without a second thought and even though I wish I didn't have too but I have no choice but to treat her just as I would my brother.”

Shimo Rengetsu was born in the Clan's new home inside the village of Konoha two years after the clan had left Amegakure. He was a rather fussy baby, never wanting to be left alone and was always seen in the arms of either his mother or older sister. His older brother used to play games with him when he had gotten older, went for walks with his siblings and started spending time with his father to begin the basic training into the art of the Clan's ways. He started in the academy around the age of six, a year after his brother and sister had already graduated and became genin. From then on Shimo had to balance his home's teachings with that of the Academy's work but thankfully he had two siblings who could help
him in their spare time.
Three years in the academy, Shimo's home training gradually started to step up in its degree of severity. His father decided to train him the same way his grand father was taught due to the fact that his Grandfather had taken a much bigger interest in his youngest grand child. So, around the age of ten his father transferred his training of Shimo to his grandfather, who started him off with a set of weights and told him to continue his normal training and get used to the added weight that way he could learn to compensate for it better. This helped his acquire some discipline where his lessons at the Academy helped him understand the knowledge of becoming a shinobi. Some of the work was hard such as the History of Konoha itself but when his siblings were around and not preoccupied with something they usually helped lend a helping hand.
Things seemed to start going bad for the family when Aiko and Akemi both had gotten older, moving up in the ranks of the Shinobi for the village. Sometimes Shimo would walk in on Aiko and his father nearly screaming at each other from their disagreements. However most people thought it was just him growing up and rebelling against his father and nothing more. It was around this time that Aiko actually tried to avoid Shimo, which didn't bother him as much as when his sister did because she was around him more than the others. Eventually however, things seemed to go back to normal, Aiko was promoted to Jonin and even had his old smile back on his face. However, it was all just the calm before the real storm came and hit them hard. There was some good however, for Shimo had graduated from the academy and had been assigned to a squad a week later. His Jonin squad was to become his closest friends for the next years of his life and possibly the only ones who could comfort him in his time ahead.
One year later, on a seemingly calm night, the clan had a celebration because it was time for Aiko to take the position of leader in the clan. His brother seemed to be a bit shaken, telling Shimo that he wasn't ready for this and that it was way too much for him to handle. Shimo didn't understand and asked him what exactly did he mean, to which Aiko stood up and told him that everyday of his and Akemi's life was planned out and had to follow some sort of schedule but he wanted to be free more than anything. The next day, Aiko finally became free when he did the one thing no one saw coming, the day he finally showed his true colors. At the climax of the festival, when their father was to give him the title of clan elder, Aiko withdrew his sword and struck him down in front of everyone and laughed aloud while he did it. He was condemned, and of her own free will Akemi left with him after defending her brother against others of the clan who tried to retaliate.
From that night, Shimo was shaken about his siblings and couldn't believe in anything they had done for him. His grandfather told him he needed to supress his emotions, not show them because they would make him appear weak and could be broken. To replace the death of his father, His grandfather had taken over the clan again and declared that Shimo would take it over when he was ready and grown. So his training with both his Grandfather and his Jonin sensei continued, while he learned combat from his grandfather, his sensei taught him the importance of working with a team and some battle tactics. The loss of his father had brought new light to Shimo's mind, and requested to be trained in medical ninjutsu so that he could save a life as well as take a life. The medical ninjutsu would help with what was ahead for in a year the Chunin exams were going to take place and they had to be ready as quickly as possible.
The months went by, missions came and went, training regiments became longer and harder but that was the life he had to live now. He had opened up to his squad a bit more but he had also shut part of himself away from them, and that was the part of him where he looked at them like family. He kept a stone blank face, cracking a brief smile now and again if he really couldn't help himself. Where there was once closeness between them was a small fragile bond but that would change thankfully in the exams itself. When the exams came around, they started just like all the others with a paper test that was a cover to see how well the students could gather information without being caught. Needless to say, this was a rather difficult task in and of itself because not one of them had real affective means to get the test done. So they did what they could, watch others and try their best to copy movements without being caught which amazingly worked well enough for them to pass by.
The Forest of Death was the real challenge for them all, and after signing the forms the team took their gate and headed inside. The forest was a living nightmare with its wide variety of animals and deadly plant life plus the other shinobi groups gunning for each of the other teams opposite scrolls. Shimo's group was ambushed early in the morning of the second day when they were getting some sleep, three shinobi from Iwagakure. The fight was a harsh one and one of Shimo's squad mates was in trouble, the rock shinobi was prepared to finish the job before Shimo finally let himself go and allowed his emotions to flow. He felt, unbound, like he wasn't hiding anymore and this helped fuel him inside of the fight. With the help his friends were able to give him in the fight, the three defeated the attackers and left them wounded and defeated in the forest with the scroll they needed in hand. When night fell that day the team had managed to arrive third and was the last team to be seen from the forest to make it, the others disqualified or dead.
The squads had a month of additional training after the Forest of Death so Shimo went and trained with his grandfather for each day and sometimes into the night till he passed out from exhaustion. He was ready, he was confident and he felt he could take on anyone in the exams so when the time came he stood in the arena with his emotionless face and waited for the match set up. The first one came and went, the second one not that far behind but when his fight came up, he couldn't believe the set up. He had to face off against one of his squad mates, one that he had even risked everything for in order to protect in the forest of death. In the end, he couldn't do it he held up his hand and told everyone that he forfeited, he was not going to fight someone who was his comrade unless he had no choice. He may have not been the winner of the exams after he did that but he was still able to gain the rank of Chunin for his ability to show how much he cared for his comrades and wouldn't harm one unless there was no other option.
The years went by after that, Shimo and his grandfather going through many hard and grueling training regiments to get him into the shape he needed to be in order to be able to replace his father and brother as the leader of the clan. He had gained the rank of Jonin in the time that had passed and or originally a recon shinobi, going out to different villages and reporting whatever information the Hokage needed at that time. After a few months of handling those solo missions, he was finally able to take a genin squad under his leadership and this combined with the elder title bestowed upon him by his grandfather for his clan helped him fully believe he was ready to make his father and the others proud by becoming the next generation of the Rengetsu clan and guide the clan into further glory with Konoha at its side.

The Tengoku No Me, a technique that is given to the members of the Rengetsu clan when they acquire the rank of master. This jutsu awakens the true power of the clan within a person's eye, thus gaining the user two abilites at their disposal. This eye technique has two effects, one is the complete and utter negation of all Genjutsu that are B level and below, anything higher and it will be a power struggle depending on the opponent. A major draw back with this ability is the crippling pain of having to use that technique more then once. It numbs the mind, locking the first gate for hours and causes horrible coordination for trying to move or attack. While in this state if the user attempts to use jutsu, it will be about half as strong as it normally would be to the point where high level ninja could possibly brush it off with ease.
The offensive ability to this powerful Doujutsu is the Jikan Supuraisa, the time stop ability. This ability is the Rengetsu clan's most treasured, sacred, and most protected secret of all time. This move is used differently for various things, for example when not in combat and roaming around the villiage a member can use this move for a full ten minutes without having any bad affects. [this means throughout the whole day they can only have 10 minutes of no negative effects to the body.] In combat this move is drastically reduced for example, if a jounin were fighting a genin and the jounin used this ability they would have fifteen seconds of time stopping or less depending the on the mind strength of the opponent. If someone is very powerful, then it would seem like the user is slowly jumping from place to place. [like computer lag.] There is a horribly drastic drawback to this ability if used more then once, aside from the over use of chakra. This ability cripples the muscles, actually tearing and sending shocks through the nerves which will bed the user for three to five days which will be certain death in the field of battle when the jutsu wears off.

History: The proud clan of Rengetsu was not born or created inside of the gates of Konoha. It was actually born and created in the land where war rages and the water never stops falling from the sky, Amegakure. The clan was born there due to the need of excellent fighters on the battle field and so they were brought to the battlefield. At first they were there to try and maintain the peace and stability of the shaky peacetimes that had happened through out the villiage...but eventually they were just used as soldiers. Their unique swordsmanship as well as their Kekkei Genkai made them invaluable on the frontlines, however that was all going to change. Many members of the clan did not like how they were being used like Canon Fodder...so they decided that enough was enough. While a large War meeting was going on, the clan just disappeared without a trace from the villiage.
It wasn't long before they traveled to the land of Konoha after the third great shinobi war and offered the Konoha shinobi the clan's power plus help with keeping peace within the villiage. The Konohagakure Elders recgonized the prowess the Rengetsu had with thei blades so they decided to have many of them as assassins under their watchful eyes. It was several years after this that the clan had began experimenting with different things to help boost the fighting power of them finding that taijutsu talents as well as Chakra fusion and molding helps greatly so they studied greatly upon these things and still do to add even more things to the clan. It started as a small clan in Konoha but grew larger due to the fact that anyone can become a Rengetsu if they are born in the clan. A few years after the clan fully intergrated into the villiage, the clan expanded upon their teachings and have been known to use a variety of different Ninja weapons such as Staffs, Scythes, etc. The clan, once it settled in, began helping out around the villiage doing various jobs such as carpentry, as well as making and producing food and drinking goods.

Sticatto - a clever technique used in the Rengetsu clan. This sword technique is lethal due to the degree of of the attack. To the opponent it seems that the user only flashed by them with thier sword raised [due to the high speed taijutsu] but in reality they were slashed between four to six times. This technique can be blocked by a sword or dodged by someone of equal or greater speed.
Heaven and Hell's Fury: This move is deadly all in its own because of its destructive power. Each member of the clan has a chakra permeable blade, which allows them to put their chakra into the blade to increase its damage. This move is a two hit attack, the first is a deadly and strong uppercut like strike that the user literally sending the user into the air in which they will spin themselves and while the opponent is stumbling backwards they charge a bit more chakra into the blade and will come down for the final strike, usually around the neck and shoulder region.
Chakra Slash: The user folds a good amount of chakra into the blade and launches a crescent shape chakra wave from the blade towards the opponent to deliver slashing damage from a distance. With a bit more chakra into it and practice, one can put their elemental chakra into the wave to cause more damage and added effects. [I.E. fire chakra could possible set the opponent on fire. in the area of the cut.]
Devine Eight Strikes: This is the move that only a master can perform within the clan. The move itself requires precision, speed, and a clear mind. This move can only, and is only used as a last resort because of the brutality of this attack. The user lunges towards his opponent, and in a single motion strikes in eight vital areas of the body causing not only the immediate defeat of the opponent but the opponent is doomed to die a slow death less the user shows mercy. Note: If the opponent is fast enough this move can be blocked all together.
Seven Blitz Blade: The user rushes the opponent with high Speed taijutsu with their blade in hand and using the high speed, they manuever all around the enemy till the rush at them and slash them as they run by, they do this six times in a row and the seventh slash is usually done above the opponent when they believe its coming from the ground to land a heavy blow.
Sword Barrage - This is a simple technique, basically this is a barrage of slashes of the sword and when the sun or moon shine off of the blade it would look like then lines of light was coming from the user's sword hilt.
Boomerang toss - This physics of throwing a Boomerang is the same with the sword in the Rengetsu clan and a master is able to throw it and if the opponent blocks it, it would usually bounce right back into their hands. [there is usually a wire attached to the blade at the base so the user and pull it right back to them.]
Swallow's storm - This technique is similiar to the Sword Barrage however it is only stabbing instead of slashing with the sword, rapid stabbing towards the chest, arms, and legs.
Clan Taijutsu: The clans taijutsu is unique in that unlike taijutsu seen by such shinobi of the Hyuuga or the brash kind [Might gai and Lee], is that aside from being offensive that the Rengetsu clan has amazing defence and counter moves and can even dislocate and break bones, and atttack certian parts of the body's organs like the lungs or stomach to cause disruptions in the other's body like exhuastion and shortness of breath if a lung is hit.

One year later, on a seemingly calm night, the clan had a celebration because it was time for Aiko to take the position of leader in the clan. Shimo and his elder brother sat outside, in a small grassed area where the three siblings would practice or play with each other when they were younger and talked with Aiko. His brother seemed to be a bit shaken, telling Shimo that he wasn't ready for this and that it was way too much for him to handle. Shimo didn't understand and asked him what exactly did he mean, to which Aiko stood up and told him that everyday of his and Akemi's life was planned out and had to follow some sort of schedule but he wanted to be free more than anything. The next day, Aiko finally became free when he did the one thing no one saw coming, the day he finally showed his true colors. At the climax of the festival, when their father was to give him the title of clan elder, Aiko withdrew his sword and struck him down in front of everyone and laughed aloud while he did it. He was condemned, and of her own free will Akemi left with him after defending her brother against others of the clan who tried to retaliate.
From that night, Shimo was shaken about his siblings and couldn't believe in anything they had done for him. His grandfather told him he needed to supress his emotions, not show them because they would make him appear weak and could be broken. To replace the death of his father, His grandfather had taken over the clan again and declared that Shimo would take it over when he was ready and grown. So his training with both his Grandfather and his Jonin sensei continued, while he learned combat from his grandfather, his sensei taught him the importance of working with a team and some battle tactics. The loss of his father had brought new light to Shimo's mind, and requested to be trained in medical ninjutsu so that he could save a life as well as take a life. The medical ninjutsu would help with what was ahead for in a year the Chunin exams were going to take place and they had to be ready as quickly as possible.
The months went by, missions came and went, training regiments became longer and harder but that was the life he had to live now. He had opened up to his squad a bit more but he had also shut part of himself away from them, and that was the part of him where he looked at them like family. He kept a stone blank face, cracking a brief smile now and again if he really couldn't help himself. Where there was once closeness between them was a small fragile bond but that would change thankfully in the exams itself. When the exams came around, they started just like all the others with a paper test that was a cover to see how well the students could gather information without being caught. Needless to say, this was a rather difficult task in and of itself because not one of them had real affective means to get the test done. So they did what they could, watch others and try their best to copy movements without being caught which amazingly worked well enough for them to pass by.
The Forest of Death was the real challenge for them all, and after signing the forms the team took their gate and headed inside. The forest was a living nightmare with its wide variety of animals and deadly plant life plus the other shinobi groups gunning for each of the other teams opposite scrolls. Shimo's group was ambushed early in the morning of the second day when they were getting some sleep, three shinobi from Iwagakure. The fight was a harsh one and one of Shimo's squad mates was in trouble, the rock shinobi was prepared to finish the job before Shimo finally let himself go and allowed his emotions to flow. He felt, unbound, like he wasn't hiding anymore and this helped fuel him inside of the fight. With the help his friends were able to give him in the fight, the three defeated the attackers and left them wounded and defeated in the forest with the scroll they needed in hand. When night fell that day the team had managed to arrive third and was the last team to be seen from the forest to make it, the others disqualified or dead.
The squads had a month of additional training after the Forest of Death so Shimo went and trained with his grandfather for each day and sometimes into the night till he passed out from exhaustion. He was ready, he was confident and he felt he could take on anyone in the exams so when the time came he stood in the arena with his emotionless face and waited for the match set up. The first one came and went, the second one not that far behind but when his fight came up, he couldn't believe the set up. He had to face off against one of his squad mates, one that he had even risked everything for in order to protect in the forest of death. In the end, he couldn't do it he held up his hand and told everyone that he forfeited, he was not going to fight someone who was his comrade unless he had no choice. He may have not been the winner of the exams after he did that but he was still able to gain the rank of Chunin for his ability to show how much he cared for his comrades and wouldn't harm one unless there was no other option.
The years went by after that, Shimo and his grandfather going through many hard and grueling training regiments to get him into the shape he needed to be in order to be able to replace his father and brother as the leader of the clan. He had gained the rank of Jonin in the time that had passed and or originally a recon shinobi, going out to different villages and reporting whatever information the Hokage needed at that time. After a few months of handling those solo missions, he was finally able to take a genin squad under his leadership and this combined with the elder title bestowed upon him by his grandfather for his clan helped him fully believe he was ready to make his father and the others proud by becoming the next generation of the Rengetsu clan and guide the clan into further glory with Konoha at its side.

The Tengoku No Me, a technique that is given to the members of the Rengetsu clan when they acquire the rank of master. This jutsu awakens the true power of the clan within a person's eye, thus gaining the user two abilites at their disposal. This eye technique has two effects, one is the complete and utter negation of all Genjutsu that are B level and below, anything higher and it will be a power struggle depending on the opponent. A major draw back with this ability is the crippling pain of having to use that technique more then once. It numbs the mind, locking the first gate for hours and causes horrible coordination for trying to move or attack. While in this state if the user attempts to use jutsu, it will be about half as strong as it normally would be to the point where high level ninja could possibly brush it off with ease.
The offensive ability to this powerful Doujutsu is the Jikan Supuraisa, the time stop ability. This ability is the Rengetsu clan's most treasured, sacred, and most protected secret of all time. This move is used differently for various things, for example when not in combat and roaming around the villiage a member can use this move for a full ten minutes without having any bad affects. [this means throughout the whole day they can only have 10 minutes of no negative effects to the body.] In combat this move is drastically reduced for example, if a jounin were fighting a genin and the jounin used this ability they would have fifteen seconds of time stopping or less depending the on the mind strength of the opponent. If someone is very powerful, then it would seem like the user is slowly jumping from place to place. [like computer lag.] There is a horribly drastic drawback to this ability if used more then once, aside from the over use of chakra. This ability cripples the muscles, actually tearing and sending shocks through the nerves which will bed the user for three to five days which will be certain death in the field of battle when the jutsu wears off.

History: The proud clan of Rengetsu was not born or created inside of the gates of Konoha. It was actually born and created in the land where war rages and the water never stops falling from the sky, Amegakure. The clan was born there due to the need of excellent fighters on the battle field and so they were brought to the battlefield. At first they were there to try and maintain the peace and stability of the shaky peacetimes that had happened through out the villiage...but eventually they were just used as soldiers. Their unique swordsmanship as well as their Kekkei Genkai made them invaluable on the frontlines, however that was all going to change. Many members of the clan did not like how they were being used like Canon Fodder...so they decided that enough was enough. While a large War meeting was going on, the clan just disappeared without a trace from the villiage.
It wasn't long before they traveled to the land of Konoha after the third great shinobi war and offered the Konoha shinobi the clan's power plus help with keeping peace within the villiage. The Konohagakure Elders recgonized the prowess the Rengetsu had with thei blades so they decided to have many of them as assassins under their watchful eyes. It was several years after this that the clan had began experimenting with different things to help boost the fighting power of them finding that taijutsu talents as well as Chakra fusion and molding helps greatly so they studied greatly upon these things and still do to add even more things to the clan. It started as a small clan in Konoha but grew larger due to the fact that anyone can become a Rengetsu if they are born in the clan. A few years after the clan fully intergrated into the villiage, the clan expanded upon their teachings and have been known to use a variety of different Ninja weapons such as Staffs, Scythes, etc. The clan, once it settled in, began helping out around the villiage doing various jobs such as carpentry, as well as making and producing food and drinking goods.

Swordplay:
Sticatto - a clever technique used in the Rengetsu clan. This sword technique is lethal due to the degree of of the attack. To the opponent it seems that the user only flashed by them with thier sword raised [due to the high speed taijutsu] but in reality they were slashed between four to six times. This technique can be blocked by a sword or dodged by someone of equal or greater speed.
Heaven and Hell's Fury: This move is deadly all in its own because of its destructive power. Each member of the clan has a chakra permeable blade, which allows them to put their chakra into the blade to increase its damage. This move is a two hit attack, the first is a deadly and strong uppercut like strike that the user literally sending the user into the air in which they will spin themselves and while the opponent is stumbling backwards they charge a bit more chakra into the blade and will come down for the final strike, usually around the neck and shoulder region.
Chakra Slash: The user folds a good amount of chakra into the blade and launches a crescent shape chakra wave from the blade towards the opponent to deliver slashing damage from a distance. With a bit more chakra into it and practice, one can put their elemental chakra into the wave to cause more damage and added effects. [I.E. fire chakra could possible set the opponent on fire. in the area of the cut.]
Devine Eight Strikes: This is the move that only a master can perform within the clan. The move itself requires precision, speed, and a clear mind. This move can only, and is only used as a last resort because of the brutality of this attack. The user lunges towards his opponent, and in a single motion strikes in eight vital areas of the body causing not only the immediate defeat of the opponent but the opponent is doomed to die a slow death less the user shows mercy. Note: If the opponent is fast enough this move can be blocked all together.
Seven Blitz Blade: The user rushes the opponent with high Speed taijutsu with their blade in hand and using the high speed, they manuever all around the enemy till the rush at them and slash them as they run by, they do this six times in a row and the seventh slash is usually done above the opponent when they believe its coming from the ground to land a heavy blow.
Sword Barrage - This is a simple technique, basically this is a barrage of slashes of the sword and when the sun or moon shine off of the blade it would look like then lines of light was coming from the user's sword hilt.
Boomerang toss - This physics of throwing a Boomerang is the same with the sword in the Rengetsu clan and a master is able to throw it and if the opponent blocks it, it would usually bounce right back into their hands. [there is usually a wire attached to the blade at the base so the user and pull it right back to them.]
Swallow's storm - This technique is similiar to the Sword Barrage however it is only stabbing instead of slashing with the sword, rapid stabbing towards the chest, arms, and legs.
Clan Taijutsu: The clans taijutsu is unique in that unlike taijutsu seen by such shinobi of the Hyuuga or the brash kind [Might gai and Lee], is that aside from being offensive that the Rengetsu clan has amazing defence and counter moves and can even dislocate and break bones, and atttack certian parts of the body's organs like the lungs or stomach to cause disruptions in the other's body like exhuastion and shortness of breath if a lung is hit.
Requirements.: For all of the swordplay both lethal and non requires the first gate to be released since the mind needs to be unrestricted in order to work fully.
