O. B.: march 18th ★ H E I G H T: 6 feet and 3 inches ★ W E I G H T: 183 lbs ★ A P P E A R A N C E: Kisame's blue-grey skin makes him stick out rather well. In fact, he has quite a shark-like appearance. His eyes are small, round, and white. He has gill-like facial markings on his face, and sharp teeth like a shark's. Even his blue hair sticks up, making it look like a shark's fin. Other than that, he is quite tall, reaching a little above six feet in height. He also has a muscular body. Like all of the Akatsuki, he wears dark purple nail polish on his fingers and toes. He wears the Akatsuki's cloak over his clothing. His forehead protector remains Kirigakure's, other than the fact that the symbol is crossed out, signifying him a nuke-nin, and is modified to cover his ears. Under the cloak he wears a dark sleeveless shirt and matching pants and a waist guard. However, he won't kill or fight anyone unless his partner, Itachi, approves of it. Since Itachi only fights when necessary, it usually ends most of his battles quickly and he winds up not being able to finish them. Despite this, he's very loyal to the Uchiha, and asks for his approval for almost anything he does. If the man tells him not to do something, he won't, even if he would rather do it. He considers the man a good friend. He's also very perceptive in battle, able to tell when he's in danger in a situation. He's also analytical, aware, and tactical in battle. He can prepare situations well in the middle of battle. Kisame's rather prideful about his abilities, though he will admit that Itachi is the more skilled of the two. He believes well in his skills but despite that fact he will back down if he finds that he is failing or in danger. Unless of course, as stated previously, Itachi is there. Then, and only then, will he only back down if it means his death, unless the Uchiha tells him otherwise, once more playing on his pride. He won't back down in front of the man unless commanded because he wants to appear stronger and finds it, in its own way, weak. Because of his personality and his appearance, he can be quite intimidating. He lets his aggressive nature play a part in that, and enjoys watching others be afraid of him. Though he is a bit self-conscious of his "strange-colored" skin. He likes taking care of his sword Samehada, it's one of his hobbies actually. He also knows Madara's secret and wants to experience his "world of truth" with his own eyes. Because of this he is also rather loyal to him. ★ L I K E S: ♥ fighting ★ D I S L I K E S: ✗ shark fin soup ★ E T C E T E R A: When Kisame was younger, he was assigned to the Cypher Division, Kirigakure's secret intelligence squad, by his superior Fuguki Suikazan. He was intended to guard the group. However, one day, the team was cornered by Konohagakure's Ibiki Morino and his platoon while on a mission. To protect information from being leaked to the interrogation ninja, Kisame chose to kill his teammates. As life went on, he eventually learned that his master was selling information, so he killed him to stop that. This made Samehada his own sword, and also placed him within the Seven Swordsman of the Mist, replacing his old master. The Fourth Mizukage eventually approached him, praising his loyalty to Kirigakure, but Kisame told him he didn't believe that he was loyal to the village when he killed his master, saying that his life was a "living lie" of betrayal and murder. Madara Uchicha then revealed that he was controlling the fourth Mizukage. He told Kisame of his Eye of the Moon Plan. He didn't believe the man's identity, and thought that his plan was insane. He did, however, want to experience this plan for himself, which paved his way into becoming one of the first, and most loyal, members of the Akatsuki. While he was in Kirigakure, he earned the title of the "Monster of the Hidden Mist" from his strength and killing. He was also said to have the strength of a tailed beast without a tail. Later, as a member of Akatsuki, he was partnered with Itachi. A few years later, Kisame went with Itachi to Konoha to help kidnap Uzumaki Naruto, since he was the Nine Tails. He wasn't in the village so they left, but were later stopped by Asuma and Kurenai. However, the two jounin were outmatched by the missing-nin, and would have lost had Kakashi not arrived. They soon retreated. Soon they had tracked Naruto down. Kisame wanted to cut his legs off so that he wouldn't be able to run but because Itachi told him not to he didn't and so instead just watched the battle that commenced from then on. Rain poured down fast from the dark sky, its drops falling heavily on the bodies that littered the ground. It helped to wash away the red liquid that seemed to pour onto the earth. It brought about a fresh smell as well, something that washed away the decadent smell of death, instead bring about a smell of pine and trees. A welcome smell even though the shark-like man in the center of the carnage had no problems with the smell. After all, blood does appeal to sharks as one would know. The man laughed a bit and slammed his sword into the wet and soggy ground, leaning on the hilt and looking over the bodies. He counted them one by one on a single hand. A total of eight he counted. Not too bad, even though he could have done much better, he thought to himself. These men were barely a challenge, barely worth even his attention had they not been trying to kill him in the first place. Of course that probably came from the fact that he wasn't exactly. . . "liked" by a lot of people. He did, after all, kill off quite a few people, important and unimportant, in his life time. It would make sense that someone would want him dead. But they were out of luck. He wasn't going to die quite that easily. Oh no, a few people weren't going to be able to take him out. An army, perhaps, but not a few people. He was quite confident in that. After all, that’s why the people were now dead, and he was not; why he was still alive, standing amongst their bodies, able to laugh at their stupidity and audacity for even thinking in the first place that they would be able to succeed at that. Kisame chuckled and yanked his sword out of the ground, swinging back into place upon his back. Samehada. The sword he stole from his dead master. Well, he wouldn't exactly call it stolen. The man had been quite dead when he took it after all. Finders keepers, losers weepers. Besides, it also got him into a position as one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. It was almost like a free pass to kill. . . Well not quite. But at least it gave him a reason to do so. The man turned around and left the bodies where they were, heading towards where he was originally going when he was so rudely attacked. The thrill of the fight was over, and he had nothing else to do now. At that point in time, he had no idea what would happen in the near future; how he would meet Uchiha Madara and eventually join the Akatsuki. He had no idea of the life changing event that would soon happen. He pondered about what he would do when he got home. Perhaps read a book; a book about sea cucumbers. . .
