Helpful and happy to be where ever he is. That the way Vallen is. He's the kinda guy who will stop what he's doing to make sure a stranger has an easier time with what ever it is there doing. From carrying food or supplies for the elderly or lending a hand in clean up. Vallen always does so with a smile and an up beat attitude.

That's not to say he's a push over, cuz he's not. Vallen has been trained since he was young by his Father, The leader of the Sarutobi clan. Finding early that his son was not built for power or taking hits. Vallen was fast at everything he did, so his father expanded on that. Since a year before his entrance into the academy he has worn weighted . Nothing extreme. 10 pound vest and 5 pound leg weights to start. over the years Vallen has gotten extremely fast, faster than most other genin. Now adays he wears 25 pound boots and a 50 vest. He would have to take these off before missions, a lesson he learned early in his life.

He just has no desire to lead, he isn't ready. He isn't as strong as he could be in the planning department and he could use more patience. Often rushing head long into a situation at his first assessment and planning things from there on the fly. This doesn't just go for combat, if he's talking to someone and he See's something off in the distance, he will promptly say bye as he runs past them to investigate. Vallen has had a hungry mind since he was born.

That hungry mind of his has caused him to spend many hours studying the Will of fire. Like most of his clan he hold the teaching close to his heart. Upon finding out his chakra nature was Fire, he delved deep into the nature of fire. Studying and training it at the same time, as he was never one to wait to do anything. Reading old scrolls and texts he would "Borrow" from various sources. Over the years he has grown to understand the Katon element and its Jutsu's better than just about anyone his age.

Standing just over 5 foot Vallen is Tall for his age. His Frame is obviously built for speed,endurance and agility. Since the muscle he does have is sinewy and long rather than bulky or the like. His White hair is kept short coming to 3 points on his head. One point in the middle and one on either side, giving the appearance of a crown, hence his Nickname. His icy blue eyes have an odd coldness that Vallen goes through great effort to hide, which he does by always smiling. Generally he wears a traditional black robes with his Clan symbol emblazoned on his back is a pure white. in contrast to his traditional clothing he goes barefoot every where he goes..

Ont he day he was born the entire clan rejoiced, as there clan leader had finally conceived a child. The little bundle of joy was a miracle child and his up bringing would show how much hope his family and clan had is his future. His family did things like made a pin wheel that depicted hand seals or shadow dancer that depicted great battles of the past or diagrams of Taijutsu. Needless to say Vallen has been nurtured since birth to take over his clan and lead it with power and kindness. This isn't to say his family only raised him to fight. They truly loved there son and enjoyed moments spent as a family not just training the young mind of there child.

When Vallen was 6 he was allowed to enter the academy of Konoha ninja's. It was the second happiest day in Vallens life. Followed by 4 of the hardest years any child could imagine. By day he was in school playing with children his age and training in the academy. When he would come home he would meditate on his chakra and the "Will of Fire" within him. The meditation was intense and often led to Vallen passing out from chakra exhaustion. His days where split between his school and friends and his clan and his destiny. During this time he but his body through rigorous speed training while home, often against various clan members of much higher rank, always trying to win despite the odds being hugely against him.

He also fell head over heals for his element, which as fate would have it was fire. Taking this as a sign that his own "Will of Fire" was strong and needed to be stronger he would practice his element as much as possible. Learning a very basic fire jutsu much quicker than even he would have though. With that done and his classes going well he decided he wanted to learn a stronger jutsu, a trump card. His father decided to teach him the advances version of the jutsu he all ready learned. It took him only a week to learn and preform, though it hurt him to do and generally blew up in his face, but he had the basics down. For months after he would go to the water fall and practice until he could do it reliably. Which isn't to say he still isn't having trouble with it.

After 4 long years in the academy he was ready to graduate and become a full fledged Genin and a member of the konoha military force, if only on a small level. The day he got his forehead protector was the happiest he had ever been. Everyone in his clan was so proud to see him graduate at such a young age. With his life ahead of him and missions and teams filling his head Vallen awaits his team and his destiny

His first year as a Genin was uneventful. A few D ranked missions with his team mates, a Uchiha and a Hatake and a Uchiha Jounin, The team became known as Team Awesome by the other genin teams. Vallen coined the phrase the first team meeting as a joke and it apparently stuck. The team was forced to do E and D ranked missions, full filling many more missions as a team due to each's individual prowess, With Vallen taking the middle ground between the Uchiha and the Hatake, though by most accounts it was by choice.

It was nearing the end of their first year as genin and Team Awesome was given an important B-Ranked mission, Escort a box to the land of Iron. Vallen chose to bear the burden of carrying the box, it only weighed 20 pounds and fit nicely on his back. The team was on high alert and none of then could have known what was in store. They where set upon by what they had been told where bandits of no real consequence. This was true for the most part, what they left behind was that some of the men used to be genin, failing out of the chunin exams made them turn to a life of crime.

The fights where horrific, with every one of the team being injured badly. The bandits where led by a jounin from Takigakure, a formidable foe, even for the Uchiha Jounin. If not for a well executed combination jutsu using 2 fire jutsu's and a Wind jutsu to Raze the entire troupe, killing all but the jounin. who was slaughtered by their Leader. The team was spent and the jounin had to bring them back, to which they all insisted not to do. Instead they trudged on and delivered their package, which Vallen never let out of his site. They rested in the land of Iron for a night or two then headed back home, pride beaming out of their eyes.

This mission gained the team more popularity and respect among their peers. The team was split up to augment losses through out the year, though all keep in touch and have Ramen when the time is available. The next year of his life was a blur of missions and combat. During this Time he was approached by an ANBU captain for evaluation, as well as became a regular sparing partner of more than a few powerful jounin, Keeping a rotating schedule based on availability. Vallen was told he would soon be put on another Team on a more permanent basis, the smile on his face could have light the darkest corner of any room.
