Soren wandered through the humid, fog-ridden forest on the outskirts of Kirigakure. As he walked, he made sure to keep his arm positioned correctly so that his brother, Tomogara, would still be safe from harm. For some reason--Soren wasn't sure why--the child always seemed to stay out of trouble's way and never whined. In fact, he seemed to be constantly happy that he was with his older brother was taking care of him. Soren loved his brother for many reasons, and this was just one. He never asked for food or water, so he was surprised that Tomogara hadn't become malnourished or anything of the sort. He allowed Soren to eat all of the food he desired, and Tomogara merely sat and beamed at the other until he was finished, then hopped right back into his arms. It was the perfect relationship between brothers, and Soren enjoyed every second of it.
As he continued walking, he suddenly realized that this was not the place he had remembered being in before. He stopped cold in his tracks and glanced about, hugging Tomogara loosely to his chest as a protective measure. He held the lead pipe up in defense with a quivering, gloved hand and pointed it about at any sound in the brush. How had he gotten here? The last thing he recalled was strolling through the forests around Konohagakure with Tomogara riding happily on his shoulders. It had been warm and sunny, just as Soren liked the weather. But now, here they were, mucking through dense fog and breathing heavily in their cloaks. Was it possible? Had Comrade Winter found them?
With a yelp of fear, Soren backed up into a tree and felt tears welling in his violet eyes. He couldn't let Tomogara get hurt! Not again. There was absolutely no way that Tomogara would get a scratch as long as Soren was present. He would stand and fight so Tomogara could crawl away, but if any blood at all was shed, especially his, he wouldn't know what to do. Soren realized that he had a dreadful fear of blood, even though the liquid was currently pumping rapidly through his veins. He felt safe when he wasn't able to actually see it, but once the crimson liquid spurted from anyone's body, he knew that he would get sick, cold, clammy, and perhaps even pass out. Maybe that's what happened to him? He fainted because he saw blood, then Comrade Winter moved him to this location to further torture him?
He felt hot tears spill over and trail down his cheeks while his frame shook from sheer terror. Comrade Winter hated him and wanted him dead, and Soren was certain that he would use Tomogara to get to him somehow. He grasped the child tighter to himself as this crossed his mind. He couldn't let Comrade Winter get anywhere near Tomogara. No, he couldn't... he couldn't!
Once Soren was able to move his feet from his rooted spot near the tree, he shuffled his way off the trail and into the sea of plants behind him. His breathing came out in pants as he gasped for air. He was close to having a panic attack, but he needed to calm himself for Tomogara's sake. He needed to in order for them both to survive. They had made it this far--there was no giving up now.
With this finally settling into his psyche, Soren continued retreating until his booted foot gently tapped against something behind him. He quickly spun around with a startled cry, but as soon as his eyes landed on the injured boy sprawled on the ground, his heart skipped, and his vision went woozy.
Blood. It was covering him. He felt his grip on the pipe loosen, and it fell to the ground with a soft thud. His skin tingled, and his eyes were wide in shock. There it was, right in front of him. His lungs nearly stopped working, but he forced himself to take in a deep breath, and with it came the iron scent of the liquid. He felt his stomach lurch, and he backed away while his head spun in disbelief. What had happened here? NOTES: Don't believe him! He's crazy! There is no Tomogara in his arms... =w= Legit. Ha-hah...

It was terrible, and the stench of smoke and blood covered the area. The boy, not any older than maybe seventeen was having trouble breathing and it only made it worse as he continued to run. He could almost hear the noise of the forest burning behind him. He had been told to run, just run and don't look back. Don't look back and don't turn around for anything.
Still the flames to flicker in front of his iris'. Flames that weren't really there but the boy just couldn't let go. His form was small for the age that it presented. His hair, a normal sleek white in color was now stained black in some areas from the ash, and some parts with red. The red that dripped down his hair, face, and other parts of his frame. It made him twitch involuntary but the movements didn't stop his beating and racing heart.
He had to run, Run, RUN. The fear seemed to make it almost impossible to stop even after the thing he tripped on. Normally what made him special, and the reason he was being hunted, was of no use to him at the moment. You couldn't just activate something like that, when you weren't paying attention. You just couldn't. So his Kekkei Genkai was useless to him. He found himself wondering why he was even here. His parents were dead. He knew that.. he had seen it, before he had run.
Were they after him? Such cruel thoughts raced through his all ready shattered mind. His body, could only do so much though. Finally after what seemed like eons to the small male, his body fell to the ground. He couldn't pick himself up, he couldn't move. Despite being far away from it all now, the smell and the flames that had haunted him still seemed to flicker before him. The blood, didn't bother him nearly as much as the other.
He was left with heavy gasps of air from his all ready smoke filled lungs. He wondered.. was he going to die here? After running for as long as he had, doing what he was told to do.. was it all in vain. His eye sight flickered in and out as he laid on the cold ground. Blood still dripped from his body where the ground soaked it up greedily. Most of the red stain however, was not his own. He could feel a cloudiness settle over his form.
Feeling. Suddenly something made him stir slightly. Someone, something had touched him. Was it those people? Had they come to finish what they had started? Did it matter? The small frame couldn't move anyway. Eichi was motionless on the ground other than the slight stir the touch had caused him to move. He didn't feel pain though and only a soft thud followed the touch. His curiosity was just to much for him.
He forced his aquamarine hues open and begged for their focus. It wouldn't help if he could only see blurs. He couldn't see for very long, but his eyes made out a pair of legs, with boots on. He wondered who the man was and what he was doing. He almost wanted to say something perhaps why? As Eichi thought this man was one of the ones that had attacked his home. Instead he didn't say anything and found his eyes closing once more.
