Another Day (open)

[Ino Yamanaka]

It was a wonderful, warm, sunny day in the village. The birds were outside singing there happy little songs and Ino was stuck inside. A slight scowl crossed the blondes face as she stared out the window. Her father was out on a mission and her mother had claimed she needed to do some shopping, this left Ino alone and with time to kill at her family's flower shop. Leaning on the counter she found herself staring out the window at the few clouds that passed by. Her face almost slipping off her hand sent her into a fit of laughter, “I'm acting just like Shikamaru, falling asleep and staring at the clouds.” She said to herself. Looking back at the clouds she wondered what Shikamaru was up to, she knew he was helping for the Chunin Exams so he would probably busy, and knowing him complaining about it she though, which got her laughing again. She also wondered how Choji and her Sensei Asuma were doing, she had not seen them in a few days seeing as how there team was a person short it had been a few days since they had gotten back from there last mission. Well she could not let herself start acting all lazy so she stood up straight and stretching out her muscles. Hopefully something interesting would happen today, but with that looking unlikely Ino would find something to do.

Wandering around the flower shop Ino checked the conditions of all the plants inside, trimming and watering where needed. Not that there was much to do, her mother might not have the skills of a ninja but she had a way with the plants. So everything in the store was growing strong and not in need of her help. Opening the store door Ino stood in the entrance, talking a deep breath of the fresh air outside, it was almost time for the Chunin Exams to begin again. It made her rather nostalgic as she ran her fingers through her hair that was now grown back out to it's full length. She remembered how her battle with Sakura had driven her to chop off her beautiful long hair. Not that it mattered because hair grows back at very least. Still as she stood in front of the flower shop she wished something would happen. It seemed as if she had less free time when she was younger, but as soon as her mother got back she would go out and do some training. Until then all she could do was wait.

[Inuzuka Baito]

Taking advantage of the sunny day, Baito found himself strolling among the hustle and bustle of the busy village streets. The Inuzuka simply didn't have a whole lot to do for the day and considering he had some time to burn with his canine companion Kegawa at the veterinarian for a complete check up and didn't feel like training solo at the moment, which left him roaming about the village. "Hmm, I'm not really very hungry, I don't have to buy anything for at home...hmm..."[/i] Baito thought to himself, running a hand through his messy blond hair. Baito scanned about the area he was in, seeing a few different shops and merchants, in which none had truly gathered his attention, at least until he walked a few more steps and caught a fresh, vibrant fragrance in his sensitive nose.

"What is that smell? Its nice, outdoorsy...almost like..." Baito muttered to himself, trailing off slightly in his glance around to follow the scent, his eyes finally falling on the source of the almost entracing smell. "Flowers...The Yamanaka Flower Shop." He said lowly to himself, stopping to look over the exterior of the establishment. Baito unzipped his jacket slightly and placed his hands in his pockets as he pondered if it was worth the trip inside. "What if someone I know sees me inside? Or for that matter, someone I like...It'll make me look weird or something...but then again, everyone likes flowers for gifts and stuff like that...I'm a tough guy though, I don't want to look like some pansy...eh, screw it...I'm going in..." The Inuzuka thought to himself as he slowly approached the store.

Slowly, Baito opened the door to the shop and glanced about, after he was satisfied that the coast was clear, he moved inside and tried to keep to himself as he now looked around at the different arrangements and colorful plants and flowers that lined the shelves, his nose overwhelmed slightly by the strong, yet still pleasant scent of the flowers. "I still don't get what makes women love these things..." Baito mumbled to himself, crossing his arms as he looked over a couple different arrangements of roses and daisies. "I'll never understand how that works..." He said with a small sigh, thinking to himself.
